for years, i’ve worked in the fragrance world, surrounded by scents. i love how a particular scent can bring back a memory, evoke a feeling, or remind you of a part of yourself that you have forgotten.

mind healings is a passion project. it is created to remind me (and us) to pause, breathe and play. we often forget to pause in this fast-moving world. we rush from one thing to another, and somewhere along the way, we stop noticing the little things: the scent of morning air, the sound of rain, the warmth of sun kiss on our skin.

my friends and family would often ask, “what are essential oils?” and i would usually take a long pause before answering. not because i do not have an answer, nor is it because it is too complicated to explain. 

i honestly feel that the best reply would be for them to experience what essential oils are.

essential oil is an alternative therapy which is viewed unfavourably as some claims lack scientific findings to support its effectiveness. different users have different experiences with essential oils as there are varying degrees of effectiveness depending on the condition of the user. hence, users lack confidence in essential oils due to its variable effectiveness as compared to conventional medicine. 

during my time spent in an Australian owned company, we have curated a wellness experience to share about the benefits of essential oils. the positive feedbacks received encouraged me to develop my passion in natural fragrances and mind healings.
